Every company is faced periodically with the need to replace key personnel. Sometimes this is due to retirement, other times because someone gets ill, and even other times, because people leave for other opportunities. Often, there is a cascading effect, when an upper level person leaves, someone below that level is moved up to the open position, then others are moved to fill in each succeeding opening until all the open slots are filled.
If this is done without prior planning, there could be some minor chaos internally, as people assume new positions. Each one has to learn the new slot, and might well also have to teach his or her replacement the job being left by the promotion. This webinar will help companies establish formal processes to minimize the impacts of such events with a plan for such eventualities.
